Immersion Training
Since 2000, we have administered a unique training program to distill, synthesize and disseminate information to a large national audience. The Immersion Training program provides capacity building and is designed to respond to the needs of coalitions, practitioners, community organizers and technical assistance providers. The Immersion Training focuses on mastering the key competencies (see Discovery) needed to sustain community based efforts to prevent violence and promote peace. Held over three days, the exciting and intensive training sessions provide solution-based workshops, focused on real community issues and grounded in research and practice.
